Viking Knit Jewelry

Viking knit is an ancient form of chain making. The chain is nearly indestructible due to the way it is knit, it can be cut into pieces and each piece will remain intact - no unraveling like knitting with yarn! This chain was Viking currency, it could be cut to the length needed to pay for an item, and new pieces could be woven in (I have not quite figured that out yet!)

Whether or not all of that is 100% accurate is something I have not completely investigated yet because I am too busy making chain and creating jewelry!

This page is a gallery of the jewelry I have made and love. Each piece you see here is an original. If you are interested in purchasing any you can contact me here, or order  at etsy
I would love to hear your feedback and any ideas you have!
